Great, quick service. We had a wonderful server, and the food was amazing. We got the goat curry and Rasta pasta which were both flavorful and fresh. Also enjoyed the dining room’s ambience. 10/10 would recommend!

Best Jamaican spot around and it ain’t even close. This Chef owned restaurant knows what they are doing. Stopped in a few weeks ago and grabbed some jerk chicken.. wow, all the flavors, all the texture, perfectly cooked/stewed and the rice and peas also on point. They stock the GOOD Jamaican beef patties and coco bread. Went back this past week to try the oxtail and it was perfect. Not one sharp bones in the oxtail, no broken bones on the chicken. Can’t wait to go back to try the fried chicken. My wife had the Rasta pasta and that surprised us the most, absolutely al dente with a perfectly cooked, moist grilled chicken breast on top.

On our first visit we enjoyed a delicious jerk chicken sandwich here plus "cheesy beef" hand pies in the spacious and cheery dining room. The menu has a lot more we hope to be exploring soon.

The owner and team are wonderful people! The food is filled with flavors and fresh. The goat curry was phenomenal and the fried chicken was so crispy. The perfect amount of spicy! So happy to have something different in the area. Give them a try!

Honestly...I have traveled all over the country and experienced from from so many cultures and backgrounds... This was by far some of the most superior jerk chicken I have ever had. The owners are fantastic people, clean restaurant and clean kitchen. They genuinely care about your satisfaction and your happiness. I will be repeating every time I'm up here for work.

My partner and I were passing through town on a little sightseeing adventures and he found this online. Soooooo worth the stop!! Everything we had was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS! The jerk patty, chicken jerk salad and coco bread were all chefs kiss. The homemade habiscus drink was INCREDIBLE. On top of that, the owner and staff were all very kind and lovely. This is absolutely the type of business you want to support, plus your tastebuds will thank you! Without a doubt we’ll be back when we pass through again.

I’ve been to Thingz twice now, and the food is very very good. I’ve gotten the Curry Goat, Oxtail (only on Tuesdays) and Curry Chicken and they’ve all been excellent. The meat is tender and flavorful. The key is to get it spicy as it really does accentuate the flavor. Keep in mind, this is not Chipotle, you’re not paying $11 for a bowl of affordable-processed food, you’re paying about twice as much for a decent portion of an authentic, good quality meal. Owner Shaneall is super friendly and accommodating, and my boy Joel knows what he’s doing in the kitchen and always takes a moment to come out and say hello. I’ll be a regular here for sure as it’s a super central location and already looking forward to bringing more of my people through to show them what the Yaad’s all about!

When I moved to Vermont, I was worried that I would not be able to enjoy restaurants in town because of my culture (Jamaican). I came with the mindset that I would be cooking at home most of the time. Until someone introduced me to Tingz From Yaad, I was so excited that I sent to get food the very first day they opened lol. I could not wait to taste it, and man I was not disappointed. The food was delicious! And reminded me of the food back home, the staff was super friendly as well and even gave me ideas on where to go to get Jamaican items here in Vermont. Ever since that day it has been my go-to restaurant, whenever I can't make it there, I will do online orders and have them delivered or ask someone to go for me. The ambiance is very welcoming; their dining area is very comfortable and relaxing. I take pleasure going there up until this day. I highly recommend Tingz From Yaad!
